So im optimistic that one of you emu gurus has my answer. If your video driver is up to date, you can try enabling the OpenCL texture decoder. This, like the display list option, also increases the likelihood of a Dolphin crash. This will relieve some stress on the CPU and may give a small speed boost. Usually it just causes a minor slowdown. The reason I'm pointing it out is because the hex core AMD CPUs can automatically turbo (increasing speed), but only with 3 or fewer active cores.
The fewer cores being utilized, the higher it turbos. You can also try some of the various 'Disable x' options.
